The sub-center will be part of the city’s new ‘Business Assistance Center’ which will also house the Center of Business Excellence, SCORE, Flagler County Chamber of Commerce, and the U.S. SBA.
Hours for the SBDC at UCF at Palm Coast will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The SBDC at UCF – Palm Coast will provide existing and prospective entrepreneurs with high quality management counseling, entrepreneurial training and information access, enabling local Palm Coast businesses to maximize their businesses growth, competitiveness and profitability within their trading area.
The sub-center will be managed by Joseph Roy. Roy, a Palm Coast resident, was recently named the new area manager for the SBDC at UCF at Palm Coast and brings 20 years of executive management and operational performance experience to his new position. Roy received his bachelor’s degree in Education from Norwich University, Vermont, and a MBA from the University of New Haven, Connecticut.
