A team of four students from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) at UCF competed in, and won, the inaugural HR Florida Student Games! Team members included management majors: Megan Maher (HR track), Courtney Eierman (Entrepreneurship track), Lauren Geshay (HR Track), and Ashley Newcomb (HR track). Student chapters from across the state competed against each other in the case competition which included oral and written presentations. For their efforts, they received an all-expenses-paid trip to compete in Washington, D.C., to represent Florida in the Regional HR Games in March 2013.
