Through the LEAD Scholars participation in the Keeth Fall Festival, over 300 families enjoyed a festival at Keeth Elementary School. Organized by Lauryn Migenes, a UCF College of Business instructor and LEAD Scholars Faculty Fellow, the students ran bounce houses, cotton candy and food stations, arts and crafts, face painting, “pie the principal” activity and other games.
“It was a great opportunity for the LEAD Scholars students to demonstrate their civic leadership and become engaged with members of the community. I’m very proud of their participation in making this event a fantastic success,” said Migenes.
LEAD Scholars is a program of Student Leadership Development in the Division of Student Development and Enrollment Services.
