In June 2024, UCF announced a change to its application process and decisioning timeline for first time in college (FTIC) students applying to the summer and fall 2025 terms and beyond.

We encourage prospective students to submit applications early in their senior year of high school to meet the non-binding Early Action deadline. Early Action students will receive priority scholarship consideration and will have earlier access to apply for on-campus housing.
Students who do not wish to apply Early Action or who miss the Early Action deadline may still apply for admission; regular application review and decision releases for summer and fall will begin in early January and continue through May 1.
