The UCF Counseling Center knows that emergencies and crisis do not always happen during regular business hours. In its effort to be more available to students, faculty, and staff, the Counseling Center has established an “after hours” crisis line.

If a student is experiencing distress and needs someone to talk with in the middle of the night or on the weekend, he or she can call the Counseling Center’s main number 407.823.2811, press #5 and the student will be immediately connected to a licensed therapist.

During scheduled business hours, students can still walk in the Counseling Center and see the Counselor on Duty for urgent matters or make a same day appointment.

The Counseling Center is a department in the Division of Student Development and Enrollment Services. For more information, call Stacey Pearson at 407.823.2811.
