“This is significant, because it is a great example of our men’s Greek organizations working together for a common purpose,” said Maribeth Ehasz, vice present for Student Development and Enrollment Services.

The University of Central Florida’s Interfraternity Council members completed the rebuilding projects as part of the Building Leadership Conference, at which they also listened to leadership stories from several military and educational leaders.

To conclude the conference, motivational speaker Beau Williamson discussed leadership strategies and communication barriers that groups encounter. In his closing remarks, Williamson challenged the students by asking “What man is a man who does not try to better the world?”

The UCF Interfraternity Council (IFC) is comprised of 15 fraternities and is part of the North American Interfraternity Council (NIC). The NIC advocates for the needs of its member fraternities through enrichment of the fraternity experience, advancement and growth of the fraternity community and enhancement of the educational mission of the university.
