Coward finished first in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.11. Senior LaKendra Thames (Winter Garden, Fla.) continued her strong outdoor season for the Knights with second-place finishes in the discus and the shot.

Sophomore Sheila Paul (Lauderdale Lakes, Fla.), the reigning Conference USA Athlete of the Week, had strong efforts in the 100- and 200-meter dash. Paul had an 11.78 in the 100 to finish third and took fourth in the 200 with a time of 24.09.

Carley Dart (Whitby, Ontario) had one of the best efforts of the day for UCF, finishing third in the 1,500-meter run with a personal-best time of 4:37.71.

After two-straight meets at home, the Knights will take to the road next weekend, competing in the Pepsi Florida Relays April 2-3.
