The College of Health and Public Affairs is pleased to announce that the Department of Criminal Justice and Legal Studies has split into two departments, effective July 1, 2010.

The Department of Criminal Justice is led by Dr. Robert Langworthy, chair of the Department of Criminal Justice and Legal Studies since 2007. The restructured department’s administrative offices are located in the former department’s offices in HPA I – Suite 311. Criminal justice faculty members continue to maintain offices on the third floor of HPA I.

The Department of Legal Studies is led by Dr. Pamela Kirby, interim chair,

associate dean for undergraduate studies and a member of the legal studies’ faculty. The department’s administrative offices are located in HPA I – Suite 343. Legal studies’ faculty members will continue to maintain offices on the third floor of HPA I, but they will relocate this summer to rooms closer to the department’s administrative suite.
