UCF is looking forward to a safe, exciting and fun game day as we welcome Knights and Bethune-Cookman fans to campus for our home opener at 6 p.m. Saturday.

The gates at Bright House Networks Stadium will open at 4:30 p.m. For ticket information, click here. Students are admitted free with a valid UCF ID.

Below are five tips that will help veteran and rookie fans alike enjoy the game day experience.

Know When to Arrive: Most campus parking lots will open for game day activities at noon Saturday. The E lots and F garage will open for fan parking at 8 a.m. Fans must have a UCF Athletics or Golden Knights Club permit designated for one of those areas to park there. Among the lots that open at noon, permits also are required for the C and D lots and garages.

The open container waiver for alcohol consumption for fans 21 and older will be in effect from noon to 6 p.m. for the entire campus. Glass bottles are prohibited.

Air-Conditioned Tailgating: UCF alumni and their guests who want to tailgate inside, enjoy delicious BBQ and not have to lug a cooler around campus can visit the Fairwinds Alumni Center from 3 to 5 p.m. Show your alumni key card and driver’s license at the door. Visit https://ucfalumni.com/ for more information.

Family Fun: Fans can enjoy free activities in the Family Fun Zone, located on the north side of IOA Plaza by Gates 1-4, from 3 to 5 p.m. Kids can climb the rock wall, jump around in the bounce house, or show off their talents in the inflatable football toss and kicking game.

Academic Showcase:  As part of Family Weekend activities, UCF’s colleges will showcase their academic programs and research from noon to 2 p.m. in the Pegasus Ballroom of the Student Union. During “Teacher Palooza,” five college deans will step inside TeachLivE, UCF’s virtual classroom simulator, and test if they have what it takes to teach a lesson.

Don’t Get Towed: Vehicles parked in garages C, D, F and H, as well as lots B4, B7 and C1-C3, D1-D2 and E1-E8, are subject to towing beginning at 5 a.m. on Saturday game days.

Students are permitted to park overnight in garages A, B and I, as well as the Libra Garage and in parking lots B5, B6, B9, B12, B13 and H4. For a map of on-campus parking lots and garages, visit http://map.ucf.edu/parking.
