Millions of Americans are unemployed and may think now is the time to start that business they’ve always dreamed of. Cameron Ford of UCF’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership gives tips on what entrepreneurs should consider before making that leap.

UCF leaders are looking at how to slowly bring employees and researchers back to campus, starting in June.

UCF researchers are studying how to alter saliva so that droplets from a cough or sneeze immediately fall to the ground instead of traveling through the air to others.

Fernando Rivera, director of UCF's Puerto Rico Research Hub, says the Puerto Rican population needs more aid because of its high unemployment and poverty rate, and because it's still struggling to recover from Hurricane Maria and earthquakes.

UCF researchers are teaming up with USF to study the red tide and its economic impact across 80 sectors.

UCF has been offering online courses for 24 years, says Kelvin Thompson, executive director of UCF’s Center for Distributed Learning. More than 85 percent of the university’s student body takes at least one online or blended course each year. “We’ve been doing this a long time, and it’s something in which we have a lot of investment,” Thompson says.

Injured UCF star quarterback McKenzie Milton says there’s a chance he’ll play football again this season. Milton is currently in Orlando rehabbing his knee with the UCF athletic training staff.
