Barbara Gannon, a UCF History professor, is leading a student project to record the stories of veterans. The project has continued through the pandemic with the interviews being done remotely.

UCF has teamed up with United Cerebral Palsy of Central Florida for a project to research how artificial intelligence can be used to teach children on the autism spectrum how to code, and also recognize social cues.

As founders of One Kid Orlando, former UCF football players Anthony Roberson and Jordan Johnson work to enrich the lives of children in the Central Florida area.

Despite the collapse of the 1,000-foot dome at the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico, UCF researchers will continue to work at the facility at least through 2023.
