The College of Business Administration is proud to announce a new competition that showcases the contributions the students enrolled in the Cornerstone Course (GEB 3031) have made to our community.

Nearly 200 teams comprised of 1,400 students presented their final team projects during their lab sessions. From that group, approximately 36 teams were selected to participate in the semifinal round and will present their project in front of a panel of judges on Friday, December 10. Six teams will then advance to the final round and present to a new group of judges who will select the winning team. All judges are from UCF as well as the business community.

The Cornerstone Course stresses professionalism and teamwork, and enhances presentation and social entrepreneurial skills. Students enrolled in the course are required to participate in a service learning project with a nonprofit organization. The presentations are the result of their semester-long work with the organization. The new event is modeled after the Capstone Competition which also takes place on December 10.
