In partnership with the Florida Department of Education and the UCF College of Education, the University Testing Center began administering the Florida Teacher Certification Examinations and the Florida Educational Leadership Examinations late fall 2012. Students are required to receive passing scores on all sections of the FTCE exams in order to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
UTC welcomes this partnership as an opportunity to enhance their commitment of providing quality testing services that are essential to admission, retention, graduation, and post-graduation testing needs of UCF students and the surrounding community. Since its inception (October 2012), the center has administered over 2,000 tests to over 960 candidates.
