The Rosen College of Hospitality Management claimed the top spot in the UCF Live United Campaign Team’s 6th Annual Critical Needs Drive, benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida, with a donation of 1,186 pounds of food. During the month of October, Rosen College joined other departments from across the university in a friendly competition to collect the most for those in need. In total, UCF donated 1,664 pounds of food.

A partner agency of the Heart of Florida United Way, Second Harvest collects and sorts donations that are distributed to more than 550 pantries in Central Florida. There are more than 180,000 individuals in the Central Florida community who struggle with hunger issues and Second Harvest offers solutions and hope as well as innovative programs to address this critical need.
