While it may be the first month of the semester, it’s never too early to think about your next step.   Whether or not to pursue a graduate education is one of the biggest decisions an individual will make for their future and one of the best ways to get your year started off right is learn all about graduate studies options at UCF.

On Wednesday, September 10, from 4:30pm- 7:30pm the UCF College of Graduate Studies will host their annual Grad Fair event in the Pegasus Ballroom of the UCF Main Campus Student Union. Grad Fair is an open-house style forum that features nearly 200 graduate programs with staff and faculty from the programs on-hand to answer any questions you may have. Representatives from the Graduate Admissions and Financials departments will also be there to provide insight into the application process and talk about your options for financing graduate education. This once a year event is meant to give full-access to all graduate school opportunities at UCF and get you prepared for that next step in your educational career.

According to an Idealist.org article “Good Reasons for Going to Graduate School,” graduate school is a good choice when the graduate degree will provide entry into your desired profession, advance your career, increase your professional options, or satisfy a lifelong passion. If one of these reasons rings true for you (or you have your own), your next step toward graduate school is only two weeks away. Mark your calendars now for Grad Fair 2014 on September 10, 2014.
