The ceremony, which will feature the posting of the colors by Bethune Cookman University’s Color Guard, will begin at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, in the atrium of Building 140 at 1200 W. Int’l Speedway Blvd. For more information, call 386-506-4066.

Following the ceremony, a workshop titled “Returning Veterans and Families” will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Building 150. Speakers will discuss the unique aspects of helping veterans re-adjust to life outside the combat zone. The workshop is sponsored by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Speakers include Maralee Walsh, coordinator of the social work program at UCF Daytona Beach, and Michael Bermes, a veteran and chair of the NASW’s Volusia County chapter.
