Sixteen student members of the Sport Business Club at UCF traveled to New Orleans to volunteer at the recent Super Bowl. The group participated in a variety of events which included setting up the Mercedes Benz Super Dome for the halftime show and the NFL Experience. The club was invited to volunteer at the festivities by the Super Bowl Host Committee. “The DeVos Sport Business Management Minor emphasizes the importance of experiential learning opportunities such as volunteering at the Super Bowl in addition to teaching our students about the business of sport. Our undergraduate students typically volunteer at over 50 sport events each year,” says Scott Bukstein, program coordinator, DeVos Sport Business Management Minor.
