Seven students from the Professional Selling Program in the UCF College of Business Administration have been selected to compete in the annual National Collegiate Sales Competition (NCSC) at Kennesaw State University, March 5-8, 2010. The team includes Charlie Bateh, Anne Bodiford, Ryan Chu, Matt Hall, Jacqueline Herrera, Emily Vurnakes and Tyler Wilson. Each year since 2002, the Department of Marketing has sent a team of talented sales students to participate in the competition, often referred to as the “Olympics of Selling.” Top sales students from across the country are selected to compete and showcase their talent in a series of professional selling role plays judged by corporate partners from top companies such as Edward Jones, the Tom James Company, Liberty Mutual, IBM, Dell and Hormel. The UCF team has consistently placed among the top 10 teams each year. The 2010 team is sponsored by Sales Gravy and energized by Monster Energy Drinks. Be sure to visit the Professional Selling Web site to learn more about the program.
