A bicycle-safety program will be presented 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at the Memory Mall near the UCF Arena.

The “Survive the Drive” Road Safety Bicycle Tour will include a team of cyclists assembled by the Florida State University Police Department to promote highway safety.

Following a 9 a.m. news conference there will be an interactive safety fair about driving and highway safety. The day will include safe-driving programs and information, booths and giveaways.

The tour is in conjunction with 2012 Florida Road Safety Week, which runs Feb. 19-26. The event is sponsored by the nonprofit Dori Slosberg Foundation, named in memory of Dori Slosberg, a 14-year-old girl killed when the car she was in crashed due to unlawful speeds.
