UCF College of Business Administration Marketing Instructor Karl Sooder, along with Jeff Lehman, ’78 and ’80, have developed the opening case study to be used at the National Collegiate Sales Competition scheduled for March 5-8 at Kennesaw State University.

More than 50 universities, including UCF, will participate in the competition, often referred to as the “Olympics of Collegiate Selling.”

The case study involves the famous Los Angeles Flower District. “Developing selling cases for collegiate students has become a major professional and academic pursuit. It allows me to blend my extensive corporate experience in the Fortune 50 with the very latest in selling theory,” said Sooder.
