The future of Alafaya Trail, including plans to transform the road into a “walkable urban thoroughfare,” will be discussed Thursday, June 28, at UCF.

The Florida Department of Transportation will gather public comments about potential improvements to the transportation corridor from Colonial Drive to McCulloch Road, which passes by the university and Central Florida Research Park.

The meeting will held be in the Morgridge International Reading Center from 6 to 8 p.m. A presentation will be made at 6:30 p.m. on the FDOT plans for multiple modes of transportation along the corridor.
