Girls from middle schools across Central Florida got a taste of careers in science, math and engineering fields at the annual Expanding Your Horizons event. Students from the College of Engineering and Computer Science helped mentor the 6-8th graders and conducted science experiments. They also got to tour labs and hear guest speakers. The goal is to encourage more women to enter science and engineering careers.
