On March 15, UCF welcomed five members of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators-CNOUS French Delegation of student affairs professionals. Student Development and Enrollment Services sponsored their visit, and members of the SDES Internationalization Committee coordinated the day’s events.
The delegates, Catherine Miaux, Christian Chazal, Philippe Prost, Thierry Bégué, and Jean-Paul Roumegas, met with SDES staff, students and faculty members throughout the day, sharing experiences and best practices. They also had the opportunity to tour the UCF campus and residence halls.
Brittany Johnson, assistant director of Housing and Residence Life noted that the delegation members “were very impressed with our campus and the people that work here. I think they were really able to take some good information back to their institutions and share the wonderful things that UCF does for our students.”
SDES Associate Vice President DeLaine Priest, who led the coordination effort, highlighted the importance of these types of culture exchanges in promoting mutual learning with colleagues in other countries.
