The Health Center now provides more benefits to the UCF community. Although many UCF faculty, staff and students know that the UCF Pharmacy and Knight Aide accept most prescription insurance plans, they may be under the impression that the UCF Health Center accepts only BlueCross and BlueShield PPO and the school-sponsored Aetna Student Health Insurance plans. However, during the past year, UCF Health Services has worked hard to be credentialed through some of the largest insurance companies in the industry.

The Health Services staff is pleased to announce the Health Center is now a member of the United Healthcare and AvMed networks. This is a wonderful benefit to the students because although there is no office charge, many students need coverage for the center’s ancillary services such as laboratory testing and radiology.

This also benefits UCF faculty and staff as the Health Center is now a participating provider with all three of the health insurance plans offered to employees by the State of Florida.

Health Services is an office in the Division of Student Development and Enrollment Services. For more information call the Health Center at: 407.823.2701, Pharmacy 407.UCF.MEDS or Knight Aide 407.882.0600.
