This year, to uphold COVID-19 safety measures, groups of up to four students – placed into physically distanced pods – had the splash brought to them via super soakers and squirt guns.

This one-of-a-kind program involves courses on designing simple experiences like a kiosk or food truck, then advances to larger atmospheres like a restaurant or walk-through exhibit.

Orange County commissioners have agreed to spend nearly $2 million to stimulate and diversify the local economy. This includes $1.15 million to three programs at UCF.
