More than 100 serious local art collectors and supporters turned out at the new Flying Horse Editions studio in downtown Orlando to celebrate and shop for the latest season’s works.

Located in the University of Central Florida’s Center for Emerging Media, Flying Horse Editions is a nonprofit publisher of limited-edition prints, artist books and art objects by internationally renowned artists.

Flying Horse Editions Director Theo Lotz said the May 14 “Ink!Rub” event “was a chance for many people in the community to see the production and gallery space for the first time.”

The show featured works from internationally known artists completed at the studio — woodcuts by James Siena, etchings by Brad Brown and silkscreen-on-glass construction by Therman Statom.
