With televised headliners Rudy Giuliani, Navy Seal Cmdr. Rorke Denver, and Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai, this year’s annual Leadercast conference will be held May 8. The live broadcast from Atlanta will be hosted locally for viewing by UCF’s Human Resources office at the Live Oak Center on the main campus.

Last year, more than 130,000 people from 35 countries participated in Leadercast broadcasts to hundreds of simulcast sites. Now, in its 16th year, conference organizers this year said they expect to reach their largest audience to date.

Included in this year’s speaker lineup are:

  • Andy Stanley – Leadership author and communicator
  • Malala Yousafzai – Nobel Laureate; founder, The Malala Fund
  • Ed Catmull – President of Pixar & Disney Animation Studios
  • Seth Godin – Best-selling author
  • Rudy Giuliani – Mayor of New York, 1993-2001
  • Aja Brown – Mayor of Compton, Calif.
  • Bill McDermott – CEO of SAP AG
  • Cmdr. Rorke Denver – Navy SEAL commander and author
  • “It is one of the single most consolidated sources of leadership I know of,” said Brian Reed, UCF associate athletic director and committee chair. “But it goes beyond that. I think this conference, although very focused on leadership, transcends the topic and really shows you how to lead in life.”

Leadercast has been approved for 4.41 CNE hours (Nursing) as well as 4.5 HRCI and SHRM CP / SCP hours (Human Resources).

The conference runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and parking is in Garage B. Registration is $89.99 and includes continental breakfast and lunch.
