UCF fans will once again this fall have a chance to learn all about the Knights’ 2009 football season straight from the head coach as the popular “Lunch With George Presented by Smokey Bones and Radisson UCF” series begins anew next Friday, Sept. 4, at noon.
The free event for fans only will held the Friday before three UCF home games this year, one a month. In addition to the season-opener against Samford on Friday, Sept. 4, coach O’Leary will also host similar luncheons on Oct. 16 before UCF faces Miami and Nov. 13 before the Homecoming game against Houston. The lunches are held in the recruiting lounge in the south end zone of Bright House Networks Stadium on the UCF campus. Fans should park in Lots E6 and E7.
O’Leary will talk about each week’s opponent, the UCF team and also take questions from fans in attendance. The first 200 fans to arrive for the event also get a free lunch courtesy of Smokey Bones.
