Chad Nye, a professor and the executive director of the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD), was named a fellow of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Individuals are recognized for making outstanding contributions to the profession. About 20 people are selected every year from a field of about 140,000. All of UCF’s full professors in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders have been awarded this honor.
