Smith’s performance marks the third week in a row that a UCF alumnus has recorded a 100-yard receiving game in the NFL. Last week, Denver Broncos’ receiver Brandon Marshall compiled 134 yards receiving and two touchdowns. The previous week Jacksonville Jaguars’ receiver Mike Sims-Walker had 147 receiving yards and a touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs, and Marshall had 112 yards receiving against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Smith was not the only former Knight to produce as two others scored touchdowns Sunday. Sims-Walker had eight receptions for 91 yards, including the game-winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter against the Buffalo Bills. With the win Jacksonville improved to 6-4. Also, Cleveland Browns’ tight end Michael Gaines scored on a two-yard pass from Brady Quinn against the Detroit Lions.

Former UCF offensive lineman and current Green Bay Packer Josh Sitton helped pave the way for running back Ryan Grant who compiled 129 yards rushing and a touchdown in a win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Oakland Raiders’ offensive lineman Cornell Green started at right tackle in a win over the Cincinnati Bengals. That win was part of another successful weekend for Knights in the NFL.
