Continuing its climb up the polls, the 2009 Conference USA champion UCF women’s soccer team jumped to No. 8 in the country when the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released its top 25 Tuesday. The Knights, meanwhile, are No. 10 according to both Soccer America and Soccer Times.

Holding a 14-3-1 overall record, the Knights have already guaranteed themselves a share of the C-USA regular-season title with a 9-1-0 league mark. They will go for the outright title in the regular-season finale on Senior Night Friday when UCF hosts Southern Miss at 7 p.m. Admission is free, and the first 100 fans receive a complimentary UCF soccer shirt.
