The Real Project Web site has a new look based on feedback from students. The new Web site and 12-month Social Marketing Campaign are part of a partnership with the Orange County Coalition for a Drug-Free Community.

The marketing campaign was one of the recommendations of the Orange County Underage Drinking Task Force. UCF President John C. Hitt and Orange County Mayor Richard T. Crotty appointed 26 community leaders to address problem drinking among Orange County young adults. The Web site features student activities and events on campus and the surrounding area, as well as campus resources for those interested in supporting a campus community that emphasizes health protection strategies.

The Real Project is part of UCF’s Division of Student Development and Enrollment Services. The program is based on the model of peer advocacy. The services provided are designed and delivered by students, for students.
