The Clothesline Project is a national initiative that began in Cape Cod, Mass., to address violence against women and serves as a vehicle for women affected by violence to express themselves.

“It is important that members of our community understand that dating and domestic violence can happen to anyone,” said Christine Mouton, coordinator of UCF Victim Services. “It impacts a person’s ability to socialize, work or attend school, and it can greatly impact a person’s health along with their mental and emotional wellbeing.”
