The research being presented at the event ranges from the search for novel tuberculosis treatments harvested from the ocean to promoting cognitive abilities of the elderly through game play. Each student’s work was nominated by their respective university to represent them in the statewide competition. The students representing UCF were selected in light of their success at the Graduate Research Forum as first or second place winners.

While awards will be given for top projects in each category, the most important aspect of the event is the celebration of the caliber and diversity of research that the students produce. The UCF College of Graduate Studies is honored to host this high-quality event for its fellow state institutions and hopes to showcase the strength of research at UCF. The College of Graduate Studies invites all interested students, faculty, and staff to join us from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm in the Live Oak Ballroom as the presenters showcase their work. If you have any questions about the Statewide Symposium please email Amy.Bickel@ucf.edu.
