The Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities in conjunction with the UCF Parent and Family Fund hosted the third Creed Art Contest in November 2013. Students from across campus were encouraged to submit original works of art that represented the UCF Creed values: Integrity, Scholarship, Community, Creativity and Excellence.

The winners were selected by the OSRR:

  • Winner: David Paley ─ “The Kneeling Knightro”
  • Runner Up: AnnMarie Henry ─ “The Knightro and Student”
  •  Students who submitted their artwork included their personal artistic reflections. One student artist, Brianna Howard, wrote, “We don’t simply observe the Creed as a value of the school, but students looking to excel observe the values of the Creed as personal values, and should practice them in everyday interactions.”

Creed Art submissions are currently on display in Wellness and Health Promotions, Nicholson School of Communication, and the University Writing Center.
