From popular T.V. shows to American classics and top directors, UCF Alum Robert Schaer (’02) has made a name for himself as a musician in a highly competitive industry. But Schaer doesn’t like to toot his own horn—he credits his UCF music professors with hitting his first career notes.
“Being in school and studying with wonderful professors like John Almeida, Jeff Rupert and Ron Ellis completely changed my life and my approach to music,” Schaer explains. “Without their help and guidance, I wouldn’t be where I am today. For that reason, the music performance degree I earned at UCF means the world to me.”
