UCF classes and operations will continue as normal throughout the entire day Wednesday, Oct. 5, when the Knights will host SMU at 7 p.m. at FBC Mortgage Stadium in a game rescheduled due to Hurricane Ian.

Game day parking will open on most of the campus at 5 p.m. Because classes and operations will be continuing throughout the entire day, there will be no game day activities on Memory Mall and Greeks on the Green for this game. Game day activities will be limited to around FBC Mortgage Stadium, where students and fans are invited to visit IOA Plaza for pregame festivities.

Traffic flows on campus will generally be the same as on a regular weekday. All campus entrances will remain available for traffic the entire day.

Garage H will be reserved for game day parking starting at 4 p.m. for students who have Garage H game day permits and fans who make a minimum donation of $20 to support student scholarships.

For Students

Students who are parking for classes or campus services Wednesday are allowed to park in garage A, B or I or lot B5, B6, B9 or H4. Regular university permits will be required for those garages and lots before 5 p.m. After 5 p.m., parking in all of those lots and garages will not require a permit. Overnight parking also is permitted in those garages and lots for those who have the appropriate university permits.

Athletics Gold Zone parking passes will be required for garage F starting at 4 p.m. and garages C and D and lots C1-C3, D1-D2 and E1-E8 starting at 5 p.m. Students with appropriate university permits are allowed to park in those lots and garages earlier in the day, but they must move their vehicles before game day parking begins.

For Faculty and Staff

Employees who have questions about how their role applies to university or game day operations on Wednesday should contact their supervisor.
