The UCF McNair Scholars program has created a national Web site to help university staff and students around the country share resources and access more information about the program.
The site is designed as a forum for members of the McNair community nationwide to share stories about program and scholar successes. Information on McNair conferences, funding opportunities and graduate school visitation programs for scholars will also be available.
The McNair Scholars Program is a U.S. Department of Education program designed to prepare undergraduate students for doctoral studies through involvement in research and other scholarly activities. The program is available to first-generation college students with financial need and members of groups that are traditionally underrepresented in graduate education.
