World Sight Day is a day of awareness to focus global attention on blindness, visual impairment and rehabilitation of the visually impaired. The Office of Student Disability Services is presenting World Sight Day to UCF. All are welcome to attend.
World Sight Day: Thursday, October 11, 2012 @ Teaching Academy, Room 130
Programs will be presented in recognition of World Sight Day, an annual global event proclaimed by the World Health Organization and Vision 2020 to promote awareness about vision loss and blindness prevention.
Schedule of events: 10 a.m.: Sight Ed 101 – Education for the Sighted; 11 a.m.: Knight’s Pane; 12 p.m.: “Going Blind” documentary viewing
