In recognition of its opening day on Monday, Aug. 26, Microsoft’s Vice President of Education Anthony Salcito recorded a video welcoming students to UCF Downtown, our new shared campus with Valencia College. In the video, Salcito notes how the university’s innovation, partnerships, and integration of curriculum and skills will help prepare students for future jobs in the workplace.

Microsoft announced the selection of UCF for its first cohort of the Microsoft Flagship School program in September 2018 and was among the first higher education institutions selected in North America. UCF Downtown offers innovative classrooms and collaborative spaces on campus that leverage technology to create a 21st-century learning experience for students.
