Located in the Visual Arts Building, the UCF Art Gallery serves as a catalyst for culture, community engagement, and art education. Established in 1974, the UCF Art Gallery has been a pillar in the creation, observation, research and interpretation of visual culture. Having curated over 200 exhibitions and featuring numerous artists throughout the world, the UCF Art Gallery reflects the eclectic vision that makes the university a thriving entity within Central Florida. Today, the gallery continues to integrate a diverse approach to the education, preservation, exhibition, and interpretation of art in its many forms. With over 3,700 square feet, the gallery has ample room to host 2-3 exhibitions each semester featuring students, faculty and invited artists and curators. The gallery staff also manages the university’s permanent art collection in a museum-grade vault with various pieces from well-known artists that have been donated throughout the years.
