The University of Central Florida has won two Davis Productivity Awards.
This year’s winners included the Add/Drop/Swap Schedule Task Force, which implemented a change in add-drop policies that has helped to increase the number of seats filled in UCF classes, enhancing student retention and success. The effort was led by Elliott Vittes.
UCF’s Financials Support Services DAL Team also received a productivity award for reengineering and improving the security request approval and update system.
The Davis Productivity Awards program is a major government improvement initiative that rewards state employees and work units whose work significantly and measurably increases productivity and promotes innovation. This year’s competition attracted 587 nominations for innovation and productivity improvements worth $415 million in cost savings, cost avoidances and increased revenue for state government.
