Delta Zeta held its installation banquet at the Sheraton Hotel in Downtown Orlando to become an official chapter at UCF. To become a chapter, the sorority had to meet a number of university and sorority requirements, which during the past year took many dedicated hours of planning and hard work. With all of the necessary requirements met, they became the Pi Xi chapter of Delta Zeta on March 18, 2012.
With over 160 Delta Zeta members participating in this momentous occasion, the banquet began with speeches, followed by lunch, then the official chartering ceremony. The event concluded with each member signing the official charter that will be part of Delta Zeta’s rich history. Also in attendance to support this historic event were members of the Fraternity and Sorority Life staff, national representatives from Delta Zeta, members of the Panhellenic and Interfraternity Council, and family members.
