Detlefsen carries a 4.0-grade point average and will earn her bachelor’s degree this summer after just two years in college. She also was also named to the squad last year as a freshman.
Detlefsen was selected for the Conference USA Women’s Golf All-Academic team in 2009 after she combined her lofty GPA with a solid year on the links. She placed second for UCF at the NCAA East Regional and had a trio of third-place finishes amongst her teammates in eight tournaments played. She tied for 18th overall to help UCF to a school-record second-place finish at the C-USA Championship.
