Ron Rideout has been named assistant general manager of the UCF Arena, operated by Global Spectrum.
Rideout has been a member of the Global Spectrum family for more than four years, most recently serving as the director of operations for Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, S.C. Prior to his promotion to director, Rideout was the operations manager for Colonial Life Arena and the operations supervisor for the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.
“Ron brings a tremendous amount of operations and event management experience to the UCF Arena, which is crucial as we move into another busy season,” said UCF Arena general manager Lexie Boone. “We will look to Ron for his vast experience and knowledge in arena management to help us to continue to be successful at UCF.”
Rideout received a bachelor’s degree in Education with an emphasis in Sport Management from Bowling Green State University in 2005.
