UCF President Alexander N. Cartwright announced three critical leadership appointments yesterday that will position the university for progress in academic affairs, graduate education and data-driven decision-making.
The largest gift in the university’s history will strengthen proven pathways to opportunity, fueling student success, academic excellence and faculty research for generations.
The new dean is a Pegasus Professor whose distinguished work has helped the college become known globally for its innovation and excellence in research and academics.
UCF came in No. 2 in the world for hospitality and tourism management and No. 33 in the world for transportation science and technology, according to this year’s global ShanghaiRanking list.
U.S. News & World Report lists the State University System in the top spot for the 5th year.
As UCF continues to carefully monitor public health conditions, the university is preparing to increase face-to-face learning, working and engagement opportunities during the Summer B term before a full in-person return in the fall.
