Kevin Von Maxey ’03 was named the 2009-2010 Lake County Schools Teacher of the Year. Von Maxey teaches Language Arts at Tavares Middle School.
Lorrie Chappell, a third-grade teacher from Round Lake Elementary was named 2009-2010 Lake County Schools Rookie Teacher of the Year. Chappel attended UCF South Lake and graduated in 2007.
