helmetOn Wednesday, Feb. 3, several top-notch high school football players will show their commitment to UCF by signing National Letters of Intent. Fans can also show their commitment to the program by following the Knights all day long at UCFAthletics.com, the site for “UCF Signing Day TV”, including free live video streaming of the day’s events, updated bios on each new signee and online feature packages from host Jeff Sharon and the crew at UCF SportsKnight.

The massive website effort will commence approximately at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, and last through the all-new open-to-the-public UCF Signing Day Party at the UCF Arena, beginning at 6 p.m.

Another reason to follow UCFAthletics.com will be all-day coverage from the UCF Knights’ Insider, John Denton, and immediate updates on both UCFAthletics.com and the @UCF_FootballSID Twitter account as National Letters of Intent are received and approved. UCF is currently one of only three FBS schools known to be providing its fans with this sort of live video-enhanced National Signing Day coverage.

UCF Signing Day TV will be live from the Wayne Densch Sports Center bright and early Wednesday morning with all of the latest recruiting news as it develops on perhaps the most important day of the year for a college football team. Later on in the day, UCF Signing Day TV will include live coverage of both head coach George O’Leary’s Signing Day press conference and live coverage of UCF Football’s Signing Day Party at UCF Arena.

The morning coverage will include interview segments about each signee, as Jeff Sharon sits down with several members of the UCF coaching staff. In between signing announcements, UCF Signing Day TV will show several feature stories about the UCF program and highlight videos from the team’s successful 2009 season which ended in a trip to the St, Petersburg Bowl. It will also include a running scroll at the bottom of the screen so fans can check back at any time and see which high school stars have officially committed to be Knights in 2010.
