Statistics from the Fall 2008 freshman class show the university is continuing its tradition of attracting the best and brightest students.
The class boasts an average high school GPA of 3.75 and a SAT score of 1219, an increase of more than 50 points since 2002. The nearly 500 freshman who enrolled in UCF’s Burnett Honors College posted an average GPA of 4.1 and SAT score of 1370.
The freshman class includes a UCF-record 63 National Merit Scholars. UCF expects to again rank in the top 50 nationally among universities that enroll National Merit Scholars.
