UPDATE: Due to an error (not on our part), UCF was credited with a major NIH grant that should have been credited to the USF College of Medicine. UCF, therefore, will fall out of the Top 100.

UCF is ranked 86th in the most recent statistics from the National Science Foundation (NSF) Survey of Federal Science and Engineering Support to Universities, Colleges, and Nonprofit Institutions. Federal agencies obligated a new current-dollar high ($25.4 billion) to academic institutions for science and engineering (S&E) research and development (R&D) programs in FY 2007.
The University of Florida is ranked 44th, Miami 56th and FSU 90th.
